Diff/TC vents
Well, some good news:
1- raising the rear diff vent tube is easy - just add 3 more feet of hosing and run it up inside the bed/fender well. Use a cable clamp on the bolt for the bed tie-down. Easy!
2- even easier is the front diff vent hose - it's already done for us! The capped vent end is right at the brake vacuum booster. It actually attaches to one of the master cylinder bolts with a plastic speed nut.
#3 though - the transfer case vent. It comes out of the front of the transfer case, then runs to the top of the transmission. From there I am having trouble finding where it goes. (I am unable to find reference to its route on the Factory Service Manual CD/DVD).
Anybody have any experience tracing this, or found where the end of the vent tube is? My goal is to raise it for anticipated water crossings.
Thanks!

On my last truck I used a stainless steel braided under sink hose. Cut the end of it off and attached to the vent port then ran it along the brake line and into the rail rail! Clean Cheap Mod!!

Nice! Cool/easy mod; and braided stainless at that!
I may just yank the vent hose off the TC and just run a longer hose. I was just hoping I could go to school on someone.
Thanks!
