i recently noticed that the 2009 to present F-150's have steel lower control arms, the 04-08's have aluminum lower control arms... what would make Ford make this change? are the steel better than the aluminum? where there problems with the aluminum lower control arms? Lets hear your opinons..

And in the 2011 the gas pedal is plastic.
