Default Dealer left off BOV duct on first oil change.

Just gave my Ecoboost its second oil change. Yes it is a pain, but for all of you who rely on dealers to do it, be advised to check there work!
The oil filter is tough to get to, and removal of the air intake duct helps, but my dealer's grease monkey forgot to hook up the top connection of the blow off valve pipe back to the intake duct.
That makes 6000 miles of sucking unfiltered air into the intake past the filter..
Now what to do??

Think I would start with reconnecting the intake duct

I'm not sure I would touch it. Maybe a call to the dealer or Ford customer care would be my first step.

It is a 1 1/4" plastic pipe running from the BOV at the bottom LH side of intercooler to the under side of the large plastic duct from the air cleaner box. It has twist connectors on top and bottom. IF the top is off it will lay discreetly on the bottom of frame. Leaving a nice hole to suck dirt in.

Why do you need to mess with the BOV to change oil, I never touched a thing on my EB,, removed skid plates only to get to drain plug and filter,,filter is easy enough to get to w/o removing anything,,This is why I never trust dealer knuckleheads to change my oil..period..ESP or not..They F with things they shouldn't touch..My advice, change your own oil this way you know its done right..

instead of dumping to the atmosphere the eco blow out valve dumps back into the intake. that part that plugged into the intake was left off leaving a hole in the intake after the filter is my understanding.
