Dead Battery - Shift Problems

Shifting problem solved!
This happened to me today... I tried driving my 2014 in manual and shifting it via the plus and minus buttons on the handle used to put your truck in gear. Did that and my truck was normal again, tried to drive it in automatic, worked like a charm!

I am randomly having this same issue, even after buying a brand new larger battery.

The first time I had the issue it was plugged in, the second time I had the issue(while at my camp) it was unplugged.
