Default Dead battery already?

So I've had my 13 f150 5.0 screw for two months now. It has a build date of 6/13. Everything's been great until this morning. Truck was ran yesterday. Started just fine went to work at 4 and then started fine 12 hours later and I came home and parked it the same as I always do. Now the temps have been getting colder so I went out to warm up the wife's 4runner and my truck. Started her car then went to start my truck....Click.... try again...Click. Now I'm not happy. Called and got a ride to work and called the dealership. They told me I needed to call ford roadside assistance first. So I call them and after that lovely conversation they said they would send someone out after I got home from work. I asked what they were going to do and she informed me they would give me a jump. I said but I'll already be home from work. She said well they will jump it so it starts. I explained that the indicator on my battery is red. Battery is dead. I asked what I should do when it doesn't start tomorrow since the battery is dead and i doubt it will recharge and hold charge since it is new and is already dead and she said call back your covered and we can tow it to the dealership. I don't want my truck towed. Why is my battery dead already? I have nothing aftermarket installed and no USB or items plugged into the 12v. Not really thrilled that this happened already.

I completely understand that things can be defective or don't always work correctly. I'm hoping that eventually I either get a new battery and this doesn't come back or I have some crazy luck like you 13f150plat! That's awesome man glad it worked out. Fingers crossed mine does as well.

In really just shocked that it died so soon and no indicators at all. I've had batteries that were weak and did the slow crank and needed replaced but this thing went from full powerful start to....Click.

i had a similar problem on E150. replaced battery before going on vacation, drove 1100 miles over a couple days. parked van for a couple of hours and would not start, checked battery connections for tightness, would not move. took cables off and clean posted and started right up. looked like some kind of film on posts that i cleaned when installing new battery. get a voltmeter and check battery then crank, alternator should be putting out over 14V.

My sister in laws boyfriend is the finance manager at the local dealership and I know the service manager real well. I told my "connections" that if this happens again I want a new battery and everything checked out to make sure it won't happen again and they agreed. Let's hope things get straightened out. I don't want to have a brand new truck sitting and needing rides to work. I'll definitely keep in mind the cleaning of the terminals and first thing I went for when I got home was my meter and my buddy borrowed it and apparently can't find it. This keeps getting better lol.

Latest update was they are sending a dealership from over an hour away for some reason to jump the truck and was told first they would be here at 5, then 630. It's now after 7 and no sign of them yet. I'm half tempted to just jump it myself but I wanted the service guys to see first hand what's going on so no questions arrive or get the classic "looks like it's ok to me" and off they go.

I took my 2013 in the other day and had a few issues like now back up camera I guess there is a bad connection and need to replace the wiring harness and my truck continually goes into battery saver. I can drive 40 miles to work and by afternoon when i go to acc at lunch time it goes back in battery saver and shuts off radio. The dealer checked battery and charging system and said it was fine so they said they will have to keep truck and look into it havent been called yet about the harness.

I had to take my 2013 F150 SC back a little over a week after I bought it for a new battery.
