Thanks
Alaska,

I measured and at the closest point, there is about 1.25 of clearance maybe a little less....PIC

How old is the truck? I got a two inch leveling kit when it was practically new and now the shocks aren't as stiff and it has a slight rake again.

2011, and shocks should not determine how "high" your front end sits.....the coil springs and your level spacers do that.

The Daystar 1" is a great, inexpensive kit.

Where did you measure for the heights on the front and rear?

Default strut or spring spacer?

You said that you put on the daystar 1" budget lift, was this the strut spacer kit or the spring spacer. When I looked at daystar's website I can only find the 1"spacer in a strut spacer, I can find a 1 1/2" coil spring spacer.

It kept about .5 inch of rake, measures about 40" in the rear and 39.5" in the front. Also added 295/65/18 Duratracs on stock Lariat Wheels and I think for now it works pretty well! I hope this helps others that are wanting to keep a slight rake without adding anything to the rear of the truck...On to the pics!!!
tttrader,
After months of going back and forth, looking at different options, I finally ran across your post where you posted pics of your truck with the 1" daystar kit. I decided that was exactly what I wanted and it turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing man.

I want to do the same with my FX2..this is what I've been looking for! In theory, Im guessing Id be safe to put 285s on mine with stock wheels since the 2WDs sit a little lower?
