Default Database of TSB's?

Is there a list or database of TSB's by vehicle/year? I have a short list of minor problems with my truck and have an appt scheduled for next month. I'd like to get any TSB's performed while its in there.

Another choice is via Ford at https://www.motorcraftservice.com/vd...il/default.asp

Granted you have to pay for a subscription, which is super cheap and with your VIN you can see the TSB's that are applicable to your truck. Plus, this gives you access to the service manual, other technical info, wiring diagrams, etc. For me it's a great way to access Fords documentation.

Exactly. Full text of original Ford TSB's, full factory service manual, etc.

Good advice. Thank you for the replies. Now to fight with the dealer. Ugh.

Is there a way to see which tsbs have been applied to your vehicle? Also, motor craft service.com - is that a ford site? Doesn't seem like it.

Not sure why you don't believe this is a Ford site. I've been using it for a number of years and have been very pleased with it. You can run a limited OASIS report on your VIN which offers detailed info about your truck, warranty coverage, owners name, in service date, build date, etc. But hey, if you think it's someone else, that's your choice.

I have a current subscription and don't see any place that lists what TSBs have been applied to your vehicle. Your dealer might be willing to offer you some assistance with that via a more detailed OASIS report covering service/repair data.

I can tell you why I thought that - after looking at the subscription prices I clicked the "Paper/CD Manuals" link on the left side. This link goes to helminc.com. So I started wondering...

However, now that I'm looking at it on a full screen I see the icon that denotes that it goes to an external site. Additionally, I did a whois for motorcraftservice.com and see that it is registered to Ford.

One thing I know for sure - you can never be too skeptical or paranoid about internet sites that want to take your money
