does anyone else think the dashboard really sucked? I like it better with the lights on, but the thing is I cannot get them to turn on unless it is dark outside. Am I doing something wrong?
HELP

The lights are controlled by the sensor in the middle of the dash tray (top). You can cover the sensor with tape, hat, etc. but there's no way to turn just the dash lights on if it's daylight.

I noticed that too. I usually drive with the lights on for safety and during the day wear sunglasses which make the dash harder to see. Would be nice if the dash lights were on.

Just posted this on another forum. My suggestion was using VHT Niteshate to smoke the sensor even more. No tape, no covering it up, etc. Should look factory and work when all said and done. Just take your time with prep and masking off everything you don't want that stuff getting on. Few shots of that stuff should do the trick.

just remember if you have your lights on the autolamp setting then your lights will always be on. just will have to maually turn your lights on everytime you need them. Just don't forget.
