Default Dash swap from 2013 to a 2011

Have a 2011 platinum with touch screen
And want to know if it is possible to swap the center dash from old to new. I have a friend with a totaled 2013 that i can swap parts with if its plug and play and will work right. Will it?

The wire connectors are most likely different, 2013 saw a huge amount of changes from previous years.

Default swap

There are situations that turn into a can of worms. This is a barrel of pythons. Be ready to transfer all wiring harnesses, modules, sensors and computers. It will be a lot of work. I doubt it would be plug and play. Ford likes to use 4 or 5 wiring harnesses in a year for the same vehicle depending on options.
