I guess EB owners can't post about how they notice how the two engines drive different or how they love the low end power of the Ecoboost versus the 5.0L. However, it is okay for some to say how much they like how their 5.0L sounds like a real truck, claims it gets better fuel mileage, or costs less than the Ecoboost.

Come on guys, just how they sound different, they also drive different and someone should be able say how they drive different just how someone else should be able to say they sound different. If someone was giving misinformation about the 5.0L, then I can see you flaming them. I also think it is funny how some flame the OP for starting such a thread causing a flame war, yet they can start a thread on how they saw an EB shuddering knowing it will cause a war. Hmmmm Sully, kind of calling the kettle black. Come on bro, this isn't any worse then that thread.

You know it's the truth... The ecoboost is a very impressive engine... So it may not be for everyone... Different strokes for different folks... Me ima V8 enthusiast so I got the 5.0 I don't mind that it has to rev to make power I love listening to it... An on the other hand the ecoboosts ability to hold 6th and accelerate is very impressive look at its torque it's flat! It ramps quickly and stays there! But I personally love the feeling of the 5.0 as it just builds torque and feeling it just pull to redline... Does that mean it pulls harder then the Eco? No you just won't notice the pull get stronger as it revs higher cause it's already pulling hard... Like I said the 5.0 was the right choice for me and I can't wait to be able to dump money in it to make it pull harder
