Default Custom HID Projectors

After 4 months, my custom made HID's from AAC are finally ready. I have attached a couple of pics (quality is sh*t as they were take from a blackberry). I should have them installed this week if all goes well.

They are made from OEM F-150 housings which have been broken down and bead blasted, painted black, fit with OEM Infinity Q45 "gatling gun" projectors with 6000k HID's, LED daytime running lights (a requirement in Canada) and LED turn signals.

$2k and you only have low beams?

Wow.....Don't get me wrong as they look amazing, but the Q45's only are a single xenon low beam.

Are you using 35w ballasts or 55w ballasts?

I will be starting my Retrofit shortly on my Harley Lamps using the LS460 projectors with a 55w ballast and 4100k DL50 phillips bulbs.

Here's my question... For $2k, what do you get for high beams? Those LED projectors are only the low beam on the Q45. I started working on a set in my '05 (perfect fit with the size of the reflector in those lights) but once I realized that there was no way to get the high beam action, I scrapped it.

EDIT- Damn... I didn't read djquik's post... I second DJ.

I just read that he started this thread almost 15 days ago and has not reposted. Maybe after he installed them, he realized he only had low beams and went back and shot the guy that charged him 2G's and now he is in jail.

I think you should start on a set of lights similar to the R8's LED/projector setup. It's highlighted in this months C/D. Sick.... I'd send you my 6 headlights as guinnea pigs !!!
