Default Custom Fabbed Front Bumpers

Whos got em?! Im talkin something you either had made or made yourself, not that there is anything wrong with a production model. Im just looking for insight on building my own, mostly because I can, partly because I dont feel like spending $2000 on a bumper I can make for $300 and some elbow grease. The lower cost bumpers, IMHO all seem to be made of the God awful thin gauge diamond plate steel.

I am in the design phase of mine for my '11 Screw XLT 4x4 Eboost and am looking for some inspiration. So far I am liking Boondocks "BackWoods" design the most with an added bull bar, mine will be made from 3/16" A36 steel sheet. If you have one... PICS!@$# Or better yet, a solidworks compatible file for me to play with. I am still debating on whether to have the steel professionally cut to my specs or to just break out the oxy/acetylene torch(for those of you wondering, yes I do have a lot of free time on my hands, for the moment anyway)

That is NICE! Thanks for the pics, makes me think I may not need to go so "polygonal" like the boondock.

Damn, that is real nice.

Did you do all the welding and design yourself?

If you come up with the measurements my brother can CNC cut any size you want up to 4' x 8' and 1.5" thick...
