If I can at least paint the trim and replace the jumpseat, my issues diminish greatly. Do you have any more pics of the seat belts and the contracts between your black interior.

Oh and props on all of your DIY projects. You've got some skills my man.
thanks man. and I don't have any pics, but I can snap one for u later. I do plan on getting rid of the grey seat belts one day. right now it doesn't look bad because the headliner and overhead console is grey, and all 4 armrests.. but im planning on covering that headliner with black suede soon, and getting the 4 armrests covered in black leather.. so then im sure the seat belts would look like doodoo if you aren't planning on going that far with the black out, I wouldn't worry about the grey seatbelts.

No. i don't plan to go that far with it. I would just like the entire seat to be one color. I am still trying to picture the black seats with gray belts. Thanks for the help.

Wow! I love what you did. Do you think that will be possible with fiber glass?

Mmmmm... Suede... Make sure you write up a how to when you do it. I plan on doing the same thing eventually, along with a few other pieces for accents. Wouldn't mind seeing how the headliner is done.

heres a couple pis.. I think the hardware on the seatbelt is more noticeable than the seat belt itself.

thanks! it could, but I don't like fiberglass because u cant form the fiberglass itself.. if u want to make a curved panel with fiberglass u have to have a structure or a foam based shaped to the curve u want, and then lay the fiberglass over that. wayyy too much effort. I heated the ABS with a heat gun until it was limp, molded it into place and sprayed cold water on it. done. took 10 minutes per side for the lower filler panels

For sure man. A suede headliner is actually a freaking piece of cake. the fabric from joanns will run u like 60 bucks, u just have to make sure to get a good glue. I use this stuff
http://www.dap.com/product_details.a...=50&SubcatID=9

I spray it out of a 15$ harbor freight gun, but u can also brush it! we tried a few different glues over the years on me and my buddys cars, but this is the winner. I did my brothers Camaro with it. the hardest part of doing a headliner is dropping it out of the truck.. it takes some work.. after its out u lay you fabric over it, and start gluing and spreading, starting from the middle of one end and working your way to the other end. a heat gun comes in handy if a wrinkle forms. u might need a buddy to help u take it in and out

thanks man! this was definitely a little excessive.. but if you can come up with 300 bucks to get the regular non flow through console that Toddman has, DO IT. it feels so freaking good to be rid of the jumpseat. I spend 80% of my driving time alone, 15% with my girl or my brother passenger, and 5% with two people in the back headed to Vegas or something. there was no need for a 6th seat, and I don't want anyone that close to me anyways lol

That sounds very easy indeed! I figured I would have to strip the original fabric off or something. But I'm not quite as intimidated anymore. Lol. As far as taking it out, I need to sound deaden my roof anyways and will have a friend to help out. So I might as well do a double whammy! Sweeet
