Default Custom Console Created By Jumpseat Frustrations.. PICS

I always HATED my jumpseat. I actually loathed it. No storage space, no style, higher than the door armrest.. it was just awful. So I bought a raptor console off ebay for 180$ shipped.. but then what? I really didnt want to deal with the hassles of a flow through conversion.. so I took the sawzall to it, and molded in a piece of my jump seat to make it custom. Enjoy.

The concept was simple enough..take the back half of the raptor console and the back of the jumpseat and mold them together with heat formed plastic. Heres the work in progress

And after paint

Installed!

Overall im happy as hell with it, I truly believe it looks like it could be factory but with more usable space.. and style . But its probably something I wouldn't do again because it was a painnn. Feedback welcome!

Looks great! Is that smooth shine from the plastic material you used or from paint? Either way that's a awesome finish on it

Nice console!!!
Off topic but did you paint the plastic trim on the seats? Or did you buy replacement parts?

Thats single stage matte black paint on the seat trims.. as chip and scratch proof as it gets since its a catalyzed paint and not spray can
