I am thinking about Kicker's 12" wedge box under the rear seats, but I like the idea of behind the rear seats. Is there an easy way to get the seats to fold down or do I have to remove them entirely?

I have a single 8 inch Kicker L7... My sub is not behind the rear seats, just the amp. You can fold them down, but they are kind of tricky if you don't know where the release mechanism is.

I really don't thing $700 is that bad. After all they did all the hard work for you. Box is ready to go, everything is wired and its just plug and play.

I payed 700 for my system to be installed with a kicker L7 (far better sub than what is in that pre made set up) and 500 watt phoenix gold amp. Also have a hidden bass **** to control the levels as well. 700 for that set up is too much... Too many other alternatives and clean ways to install.

I have the Sound Ordinance B-8PT powered sub stuck behind my rear seat of my screw. It sounds great for what kind of music I listen to. I have never had any issues with it. I did have to install a PAC AOEM FRD-24 adapter to add the sub.

I have tried doing some Google searches, but not sure what to search for outside of "subwoofer volume control in stock system". I get a lot of useless results. Wondering if someone would know how to narrow that down a bit.

I think there all for low level. The PAC lc2 might work

I went to my local car audio shop. Got a 10" Pioneer in a downward firing pioneer box. Fits perfect, SOUNDS AMAZING. Huge improvement. It only took 25 minutes to install. Out the door for $400.
