Default Coyote engine 412 hp crate engine

Is it possible or worth it to swap my 2014 F150 stock 5.0L with a 2012 coyote 412hp engine with tranny and all. Only has 60 000km on it.
Is it even possible?

Did you blow your motor? Not sure why you would want to swap to an older motor unless yours was blown up.

There was an older thread here that explained the difference between the mustang and truck motors. they are pretty much the same internally except for cams.

IIRC, piston squirters, intake/exhaust cams, manifolds (intake and exhaust) differ.

same 6r80 transmission.

tune is different, of course. I think the f150 and boss (444hp) engines share exhaust cams.

definitely not worth it unless that engine is free. same block and heads.

a tune for $400 should get you to the same hp without the need to rip apart your 1 yr-old truck
