Default Cooper A/T3 are fantastic!

Went with the 275/70/18s and now the speedo is dead on. They look more aggressive in person then in the photos and the ride is great. In the rain they rock, were getting snow soon so well see about that. No road noise and they ride great. Got 65,000 out of the stock Goodyears but these are way better.

Nice! I went with the Cooper DIscoverer HTP. 275/55/20. I like them a lot. Very smooth and quiet. They handle very well in rain also. No complaints!

What goodyears did you have? I have the AT/S and really don't like them at all.

I must admit, I prefer the Michelins but I didn't necessarily need something so awesome. So I went with the Cooper Discoverer HTPs. But the Michelin LTX MS2s are better.

one reason i am looking hard at the at3 is the XL load rating. i haul a boat alot for about 8 months a year and want a better tow tire without having to get an E rated tire.

Be careful in the snow with these tires. I have enjoyed them on the road & in the rain but I recently slid off a snow covered road and into a pole with AT/3's. $8,000. damage. I was going slowly down a slight incline in 4wd and the tires just let loose front & back and never recovered. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with their snow ability. Seem great everywhere else though.

I tow a 30' camper and it was a factor in choosing the Coopers.

I might lose a bit of gas mileage but I'm not driving a Prius. It's a big v-8 and I bought it to tow and haul my wife and dogs in safety. The price of insurance is more gas, oh well.
