Default Cooper S/T Maxx thoughts?

Any comments on this tire?

Been thinking about getting them in 275 65 20 size on some chrome fuel hostages as my "once a year mod"

I am not overly concerned with snow handling but I am with wet roads and some light offroad conditions. Also how are the highway manners? Thanks guys

I put those tires on my 2011 Lariat in 275/70/18. I have put about 4k on them so far and I love them. They are pretty quiet and boy what a difference from the factory tires. Now it rides like a truck, not a car.

Thanks for the reply! Good to hear. Only thing that worries me is ruining the ride with the LT tires. I don't mind some stiffness just would hate for it to be harsh

Anyone think 34" tire is too big? Currently my toyos are 33" and with fox 2.0 set up

34" tires with a leveling kit looks just right to me. Mine are 33", but seem a little small with the level. 34s are the next size I'm getting.

I've done a lot of research on these tires, and people seem to love them. I haven't seen them in person yet, but when I go to get tires it will be between these, the KO2's or duratracs. I've always been a fan of cooper tires, so i'm leaning in that direction.

Love the looks of the ST Maxx. I would be concerned about snow traction though with so few sipes in the tread blocks. They may perform well though??

I've had mine finger on the trigger but not sure how or if a 34" will squeeze on a 2wd with about 2" of front lift and the block in the back. The sizes are very minimal for this tire and 20s. Almost am considering going to an 18 inch rim

I don't need it overstuffed to the point of goofiness

my son and I have both had sets of these. great for first 25k miles then starting cupping and got loud. we both rotated regularly, me 5k miles and he 6k miles. I sold mine, they were 265/75/16 and went with another rim and tire on my Tacoma. the ST was terrible in the rain even new but pulled pretty good in the mud.

Thanks for the heads up. Probably a reason they don't give any warranty from what I have seen. All the reviews don't have many miles on them. Would be the exact type of tire I want though. Aggressive but not a true MT

I would recommend Duratracs over the ST MAXX. I'm running both and like the Duratrac better. Both have similar tread designs.
