Default Cooling fans not running

I have a 2010 with the 5.4 that has been having a slew of problems recently. Started with the fuel pump fuse burning up. Bought and did the relocate. Then the A/C quit a few days later. Replaced fuses and relays but am pretty sure the ac clutch is bad. Newest issue that started maybe a week after that is the cooling fans on the radiator are not running. Sitting in traffic on the way home after work and my temp gauge pegged. Cools down when I get air over the radiator, but will heat up quick when sitting in SoCal traffic. I just replaced all fuses and relays associated with the fan system, and still no dice. Ran it up to 250 degrees and neither fan comes on. Is there anything I'm missing or another place I need to look? Or did my fans just die like my A/C did? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is my only vehicle and I'm trying my best to not cook the engine.

Make sure your coolant is in the normal range.
I do not have wiring diagrams for 2010 but I would expect your cooling fan grounds are located behind the passenger side kick panel by the fuse box. Check and make sure those ground are in good condition. Also check the small ground wire mounted to the right (passenger) fender sort of behind the battery. My comments are based on 2007 and the 2010 should be similar.

Dont keep running it up to overheat temp or you may be dealing with blown head gaskets or worse.

Make sure the relays are good. I am having weird overheating problems where the truck is reading 239 degrees or higher, BUT, a heat gun reads just about every hose and radiator at 165-168 degrees. Gun is cheap though accurate enough, I have tested it on known temperatures. While the transmission gauge stays in about the 1/4 mark.

Plus, I do not think the fans are coming on when they are suppose to.

I believe it is a bad ground as someone previously mentioned.

Do not use after market CHT sensor if you decide to change it. I did a side by side and OHM reading to a Motorcraft, absolutely different and that made a big difference and eliminated a lot of weird gauge stuff. Worse the Advance Auto (Car Quest) CHT could never give a steady reading, besides running higher 4-5K higher then the Motorcraft.

I have the ICON T7 - still trying to find a way to activate the fans remotely. No NGS that is for sure.

Unplug fans from power, jumper their connection to battery to see if they turn on. You have to determine if it’s fans or circuit before moving forward.
agree with 1fordtech1 don’t overheat it any more than you already have. Serious damage can result.
post results.
