Default Computer/transmission updates

Anyone out there know if there has been an onboard computer update for the 2010 F150 FX4 Screw since October of 2009? I just took my truck into the dealership this morning due to the truck shifting hard from second down to first.

Just curious.

Thanks everyone,

Mike

My in-laws own a heavy-duty ford dealership, I had them run my VIN and no TSB were found. I have a 2010 SCREW XLT 5.4 4X4. I had them check last month.

**update**

Picked up my truck from the dealership. While they had my truck they found SSM 21470 (Special Service Message #21470) for my make/model/transmission type.

Per the invoice they "updated the onboard software and cleared transmission control module, kept alive memory and performed transmission adaptive drive cycle in WSM SE"

Not sure if this is usful information for anyone else here but so far so good on the hard shift from 2nd to 1st. Seems to have solved the issue for me.

On another note, my dealer mentioned that there has been a rash of tailgate thefts in the DFW area of late. Apparently the foucs area has been on tailgates with the reverse camera built in. Just thought I'd pass this along...
