Haha... Damn it! Well I guess painting it myself will save me some money. We don't have Napas out here I don't think so I will have to go to autozone or O'reilly's. I just have concerns with silver matching decently.

So wait .. to get those caps paint to match, I have to order the "lariat" cap part from ford? And then just sand down and paint them myself or at a body shop?

What's the part number guys??

Depends on how much money you want to spend or how much work you want to do.

Here's an ebay auction that will pre-paint them for you based on your paint code: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-2009...-/261205824399

Otherwise, I checked Tasca Parts for you, and looks like you can get the mirror caps but they are not painted. http://www.tascaparts.com/parts/inde...&siteid=213668

Yup. $99.04 shipped UPS for the pair. Then the cost and/or time to have them painted or paint them yourself. OR maybe just paint the ones you have if you have the time. That's probably what I would do. I don't see any reason to buy some that AREN'T already painted, considering you can just paint the ones you already have. The already painted ones in the eBay link seem pretty steep. That's over $100 to paint 2 mirror caps. Either that or I have no real concept of how much it costs to have something like that painted haha.

Good luck. Interested to see what you decide.

Haha I hear ya. Shouldn't be too difficult to get some for under $20. And hell, if you mess them up, just spray them with plastidip haha
