If you've ever tried and liked Rain-X, you will LOVE 845 on the windshield. Just be sure to rub extra hard to make sure you get ALL of it off. I find it works the best to let it fully dry on the glass, and to use very, very little when you rub it on. Literally, smaller than a quarter sized dot will do the whole windshield more than adequately.

I did go back and Collinite all of the glass. I'm glad my truck is clean but I'm almost wanting some rain to try it out!

I did the windshield of my truck with it. It almost seemed like it worked too well and the wipers would rattles across like the glass was dry even though it would be completely soaked.

Yes and no. In the long term you are correct, but this summer has been pretty mild and wet compared to the last few years.

seen 845 on line, said auto zone sells it. so at lunch i went to the local auto zone and looked around. employee asked if i needed help so i said im looking for collinite 845, he said, "whoo-da said done what??"
they never heard of it. i guess i gotta order the elusive "whoo-da said done what" and hope it doesnt leak !
