Little trick. Put your hand in a plastic bag. I use a ziplock bag, and run your hand over the paint. You will be able to feel the debris on the paint that you can't feel as easily barehanded. After clay barring, try it again. Should be perfectly smooth.

Bad water spots can be a pain. You can get waterspot remover, or get out the DA buffer!!!

Thanks for the clarification deanfx...

I went back to my order on Amazon that evening and was able to send an email to seller (Auto Barn) and they called me Monday morning. After I explained to to them that I wanted to cancel my order of the Colinite 840 Sapphire because my truck is Sterling Gray, they cancelled my Amazon order completely and created a new order from them directly for the 845 and substituted the 840 with a pack of applicator pads and a pack of soft towels at equal value at my request. Auto Barn's Customer Service was very nice and helpful and offered me different options and made sure that it would not cost me any extra. UPS delivered this afternoon and I will be washing, claying & waxing wife's car tomorrow & truck Sunday!
