Cold weather rattle inside cab
For those of you with SCrew or SCab's.
Anyone else hearing an annoying rattle that seems to be coming from somewhere towards the rear passenger side door when you hit a bump while driving. At least it is on my SuperCab.
When I pull on the bottom of the rear passenger door when it's closed I can feel the slop in the bottom latch and hear a sound that sounds a lot like the one I'm hearing when driving. I can also hear the same sound when I shut the front passenger door. So it would appear that the slop in the latch is making this as best I can figure.
I really only noticed this as the temps now are cold and don't recall hearing it earlier this summer or fall when temps where warm.
Any suggestions?

could it possibly be the ice that gets between the cab and the box. i noticed when i first got the fords, that the shape of the cab doesn't leave much room for ice to fall down between the cab and box. on my dodge's i could shove the ice scrapper right down there. the ford doesn't have room for it. the tailgate is exactly mthe same. the plastic on top of the bumper goes in too far. when u put the tailgate down, the ice just blocks up instead of falling down behind the bumper. and if theres any ice on top of the bumper at all it well dent your tailgate. been there done that unforunetly
