Cold Start Ticking Noise 2013 F150 6.2L
Cold Start is seemingly louder and louder over the years. Dealership has told me it was "normal" but i just wanted to make sure and see if anyone else was having this issue?

What brand of oil filter?
*Issue could (?) be the anti-drain-back valve. Recommend Motorcraft, WIX, or NAPA gold (made by WIX) oil filters.

I have an '11 Lariat with the 6.2. She just turned 84,000 miles. Since she was new, every once in a great while, I here a slight clickity sound at start up. And it only lasts for a second or so. But only if I happen to be standing outside of her and I hit the remote start. Then I just can here the injectors clicking a little. Never heard it from inside the cab. When I do, the next time I start the truck (if I think about it) I'll stand next to the truck, hit the remote start and listen closely. It never does it when I Want to listen, lol. Doesn't seem to matter if it's before/after an oil change, or time of year... Regular oil changes are done at the Dealer where I ordered her (Free oil changes for as long as I own her). I usually do changes between 3,500-5,000 miles, depending on how many trips I take out to West Virginia or tow my Polaris Ranger to/from WV.

No ticking here at all.
I have an 11 Limited with 125k on it. Most of that has been with an exhaust, tune, and an intake. I run synthetic oil at 4-5000 intervals. I drive it like a complete ******* because it sounds so good with the Roush exhaust.
