Default Cold Start Issues

Only had my truck about a month, seems after it sits a while, around 12 hours while at work, it's has a hard time cranking, almost like the battery is weak. It's a 2013 ecoboost and I bought it with 22,000. Obviously it shouldn't need a battery already but I'm not sure how long it say at the dealer and if it might have gone dead. Once I drive the truck a little it starts perfectly. I'm about to try a battery and see if that does the trick, just curious if anyone has had any starter issues on low mileage ecoboosts.

Welcome to the forum, SJPLATINUM! Let us know if you have any luck with the new battery. You can always have your dealership check this out as well. I'll keep an eye on this thread for your updates.

I wouldnt rule out a battery so fast. Who knows what the previous owner/dealership did. Maybe they drained it on accident a few times, or it froze once.

Pull it out, charge it up and have it load tested.
