Honestly the one that came with the truck. I have had 2 on my 5.0, the K&N and the air aid jr. currently with a AEM drop in filter. I sold the air aid jr filter that came with it, as I prefer the flat more stock like shape of the AEM. The K&N sounded good with the open filter sealing by a gasket on the hood, and looks cool. I like the sound of the air aid too, but I originally got one for the mustang engine cover mod that I currently don't have on my truck. You can get more sound out of the CAI's but not any real gains unless your at WOT at 5-6,000 rpms on a 5.0

Yep. Stock unit is fine. I added an aem filter.
