Default Cold Air Intake

Just purchased and installed a K&N Cold Air Intake, complete kit, and all I can say is amazing. Increased throttle response 10 fold. The only problem that I have noticed so far is the decrease in gas mileage. I would love to adjust the fuel/air mixture but am unaware of any type of chip available. Any suggestions?

Did you get the throttle body spacer or just the intake pipe and filter. I have been looking into this for my truck and was unsure which way to go, with or without the spacer.
Is it possible the mileage is bad because you are always on the gas now?

Always so negative

Get a tune to work with the CAI and then you will be very happy.

Yes the response is fantastic. Sorry it may not be exactly 10 fold but you can feel it under your foot. I bought the entire kit, part number 63-2575. Please let me know if there is any place I should take the truck to have it tuned.

Yeah, back off a little on the new found throttle response and you may see a little better gas mileage.

I installed it without the throttle body spacer. I didn't know if I needed it or not. I will purchase it if it will improve my gas mileage combined with the CAI. If not I will not be purchasing it.

throttle body spacer will not help unless you go forced induction.
