Default Coilover question, 2013 4x2 compatible with 4x4?

Quick question,

i have a 2013 4x2 ecoboost
seller had a 2013 4x4

can I move the 4x4 Coilovers onto a 4x2?

his have less than 2000 miles on them because he upgraded a long time ago to different Coilovers. These have been sitting in his garage.

i was thinking I could get them, then load them with new Bilsteins and do a drop in swap. I currently have Bilsteins but my coils are original. Just an easy way to put in newer coils with new shocks.

Thoughts ?

They will be longer than you 2wd struts. Not sure how much longer on your year range, but I understand that it's generally between 1 1/2" and 2".

I’m already running Bilsteins 5100 with 2 inch. Do you think 5100”s in the 4x4 coils would work ?
