Default Coil plug issue

My 2012 F150 EcoBoost has 168K on the clock. Had all original coils and starting to have mis fires. I purchased OEM coils and replaced 5 of the 6 coils. #4 electrical plug is stuck on, go figure. Couldn't change it. Now I get a code P0510, bank 2 sensor. I need to change the original coil. Can I spray the connector w/WD40 and let it set overnight then hopefully remove in in the morning so I can replace the old coil? I believe so from my electrical background but wanted to check with others first.

Are you talking about the electrical connection with the red tab that connects to the coil? I think I had an issue with this once and forgot what I did. Try taking the truck out for a drive so it's nice and hot and then try removing the connector. Is the red tab fully disengaged?

Sounds like you might need a new pigtail.

Problem solved. Got the coil replaced this morning. I'll do a new post regarding a new issue. Thanks

It would be nice if you explained how you fixed the issue just in case someone else runs into the same problem.

I let it set overnight then took leather gloves and a straight blade screwdriver and slowly pried it off.
