Clunk on stop and start

When I slow down and come to stop at traffic signal or stop light, or in stop and go traffic, sounds like the tranny or the driveshaft go clunk. When I start up again, it goes clunk. Not fast start ups or quick stops...
Anyone else experiencing this?
