Clunk changing from park to drive
So....have a slight clunk changing from park into drive....
Thought I'd check the transmission fluid levels...and couldn't find the dipstick.
Checked the owners manual and I couldn't find it because it doesn't have one
I guess I'll need to crawl under the truck then but wondering why they did away with that...

There is a dipstick, just not a traditional one that goes all the way up to the engine bay. Get a 19mm spanner and under the right side of the transmission, look for a hex plug sticking up diagonally. Take that off with the spanner. Underneath will be the dipstick, a short plastic piece. Pop that out and you can read your level. Make sure to read it with the truck running and in park, ideally with the transmission up to full operating temperature.
A clunk going into drive isn't too abnormal. You can also check your driveshaft u-joints to make sure there's no play in them.
