Default Clock Stopped Working

Hey Everyone, I just purchased the 2011 F150 Platinum. It showed a recall for the Output Speed Sensor (OSS). I took it to a local Ford dealership and they corrected the recall . I had them install the fuel pump relay. When I picked it up and was driving home I noticed the clock was not working. I just had 4 dashes in lieu of time. I called the dealership and advised them and they stated they did nothing that would effect the clock.

Under the clock setting the screen shows no time but just dashes. I have turned the clock on or off and no change. I hit the reset clock button but nothing happens. The radio and other electrical items all work. I checked the fuses and all is good. Any ideas or things I can check to fix the clock. Thanks Mark

Did you try to SET the time. The dashes description sound like when I go to set the clock I get four dashes until I set the time. Just guessing here.

I have by the manual numerous times no luck. Just talked to a service advisor who suggested ti re program the sync. I also need to have the driver's door outside key pad re progammed since the last owner didn't leave it with the dealer. Thanks Mark

Well after 3 weeks of not working the clock suddenly works. I was driving it to the dealer early this morning and glanced over it works. I could set the time and it maintains it. So I just saved the $150 diagnostic charge. The only thing I did in 3 weeks was to change the plugs and wires. A total mystery but hopefully keeps working. Thanks

Default Same issue plus GPS

I was hoping to find the solution in this thread. I have the same issue that started a couple weeks ago...AND my GPS doesn't work. So frustrating.
