I just got a brand new 2013 FX2 and it didn't come with one of the cup holder ash trays. My older 2009 XLT did come with one. I'm wanting one because the console change holder is tiny for my 13' vs 09.

Did Ford stop putting them in or did my dealer short me. Kinda wish I would have paid more attention, as I would have taken my brand new never used one out of my 09.

 

Dealer screwed yah, I believe all models come with them new! Id just go back and ask for one...

the 2013 didnt have one

iirc the 2010 had the "smokers" package in the build sheet...we had a cigar lighter as well
none came with the 2013

 

So I wonder if 2013's didn't get them? Wonder if it's too late to go back to ask for mine from my trade in.

 

That Suks, my new 12 xlt came with one.... Guess ford saved another $10 per truck by eliminating them from the 13's!

 

you are right. No ashtray or lighter in the 2013's. Have to buy the accessory or after market.

 

My 13 didn't have one in it.

 

cant recall wher i heard this, but i was toild thise things were like $45 to buy from the dealer as an aftermarket piece? makes for an expensive change holder...
