Default Cigarette Lighter Socket

I just bought a 12V Tire Inflator for my 2017 F150. The instructions say that the inflator "MUST be used with a power port that supports 15 amps." I have no idea if the cigarette power socket supports 15 amps. Does anyone else? Thanks!

In the FSM for the Gen 11 vehicles (2004-2008) it says that the socket is for a 12VDC/180W (doesn't make a reference to 15 amps) and not to plug in anything over that. I would imagine that it would be the same for your vehicle but, I'm no mechanic or electrical guru.

180 watts @ 12v = 15 amps...you should be fine.

Which did you buy? I've been very surprised by the quality of my slime 40033.
