I just ordered some mirror caps from eBay, I want my XLT to have White uppers like the Fx4s, I'm gonna plasti-dip them white, has anyone else done this?

I plastidipped my textured black ones in January. No problems so far. Can't imagine you'd have problems either. Make sure they're clean before you spray and do plenty of coats.

I bought some chrome caps on ebay and had a body shop paint them white. Looks good.

Thats good to hear!! I didnt wanna break my mirror off, by trying to take the housing off ha, so this is a safer route

It's not too difficult once you figure out how to do it. I can pop my mirror caps off in ten seconds each now.
