Default Chrome clad wheels

I picked up a set of the 18" 7 spoke chrome clad wheels for my '11 FX4. The chrome covers on these are perfect but don't exactly match the theme of a blacked out truck. What do they look like under the chrome covers? From what I can see on the rim they're silver painted. Has anyone undressed these and used the center caps as well? Pics would be awesome!

The wheels would most likely need to be sand blasted and powder coated after removing the covers. A cheaper alternative would be to paint or plasti dip the covers.
