Default Cheap FX4 Emblems worth it?

Anyone else see/try the cheap FX4 emblems on Ebay? I know a lot of people buy the OEM Red and black FX4 emblems (Appearance package) for their trucks. You can get these knock offs for $50 and they actually look decent to me.
You can get them in a gloss finish or matte... I really like the gloss since it's different.

No 1st-hand experience, however ... They are from China and from all appearance are of low quality.

IMO you would be re-furbishing -or- replacing them within a year or two.

I talked to someone from a facebook group that said they are a no go. Actually what you said above is specifically correct. They last about 8-9 months and start peeling from the corners, sadly.
I'd say it's definitely worth spending the money and buying the OEM badges even tho they are double the price.

The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low co$t is forgotten.

The eBay listing gives a little detail about them and I quote below. But what is "mortification?
Complete Set Of 3, Black / Red Sport "FX4" Fender & Tailgate Emblems
2009-2014 Ford F-150 FX4

Smaller Than Factory Emblems, Mortification might be needed.

Trunk Emblem: 7 3/4 inches wide
Fender Emblems: 10 1/2 inches wide
