Default Cheap and easy mod!

Ok guys im sure most of you know about the "Stubby Antenna" i just wanted to throw it out there again cause i just recived mine in the mail and for the price and eas of installing this thing i think everyone should try it. It replaces that huge long factory antenna with a very eye appeling short antenna. Give it a look guys it really changes the front end of you truck for a real small price!

Heres the link where i got mine!

how much was your reception compromised? Im sure the close in local stations arent much different but Im sure some of them are not as clear as with the taller antenna. Wondered about a medium sized one, dont need the standard model on the current OEM but dont want to settle for such a small antenna shown in the photo... Im considering a new one to eliminate the noise backing into the garage. thanks for the photo and info.

I have 2 on my shelf. Local stations are not hurt. They look nice but are just hollow plastic so the base of the old antenna is what is still pulling in the stations. The factory antenna is cut to the correct length for FM. I don't park in the garage so I always end up putting the factory one back on.
