I brought my truck into the dealer this morning for the abs and tc light being on and I asked them if there was any updates to the sync that they could do cause I was having problems with mine and he said I would have to pay for the update. What kind of sense does that make? I didn't ask him how much it was, but I don't understand why should I have to pay for it. Anyone else run in to this problem.

Go to www.syncmyride.com and register if you haven't already. Then go to Support and you can download and apply software updates yourself.

I guess that's why they charge you for it because if you can do it yourself I guess the shop would probably just charge the labour involved

there is on update for the 911 and truck health report that does cost.

I really just wanted to see if there was a general software update for it cause half the time it doesn't work right. I think it was telling me I have the lastest version but I need to get a flash drive and download a file to be sure.
