Changing options after order submitted?

Default Changing options after order submitted?

Ordered my 2014 f150 back in July and was playing around on fords build site tonight. Realized I can add off road package to my truck for almost nothing since it makes the 500 dollar rear locker I ordered standard. Can orders be modified before your build date or do you lose ur spot?

When I placed my order last winter, the salesman went over everything on my list of options to make sure it was complete & accurate. I was told orders could not be altered once placed.

I ordered my truck and 3 days later was told it was too late to change anything once it's submitted.

Haven't they already stopped the 14 production line and gearing for the 15's?

Only the Dearborn Plant is "built-out" for 2014 model year and in tooling changeover for the new 2015. The Kansas City Plant continues to produce awhile longer:
