Default Changing the looks of your XLT

I'm sure this has been covered before but I wanted to see what all of your thoughts were on my XLT and where it's headed. It's now about 3 months old and I've done a bit to it. At first I was all about the chrome, and now I've started backing away from it. I hate to get rid of all of it having the change wheels etc. and I don't like being like everyone else either so here I am at a cross roads. Lots of PTM and some black, but still have chrome. I painted my grill surround and have been toying with how to proceed. Should I just black out all the bars? Black out the bumpers and change wheels/running boards etc? I'm getting close to making a big decision but just wanted to see what you all thought....

PTM the grill surround and am playing around with the center piece.

I like those wheels! Go here, https://www.f150forum.com/f2/critique-my-truck-264669/, and you'll see what I've done. I would remove that lower airdam, and smoke your mirror reflectors after you convert them to turn signals. I know it's chrome, but a boostbar might tie everything in better than than the lower grille you've got.
Like that colour red as well.

I think it looks good now. Personally I wouldn't black out the rest of the grille because I don't think it would look right. What about PTM the chrome horizontal bars on the grille and leave the rest alone?

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments 7 suggestions guys, means a lot. I really like hearing people's ideas since sometimes I think I put too much thought in and get all one track minded. So keep em coming, even if it's harsh

Good suggestions...thanks man. the boost bar has been on my list of possibilities too. I like the turn signal idea too.

I wanted to check out what you've done but I'm not seeing your album?

Chrome is a beautiful contrast with that color. I would not change a thing....of course, I am one of the folks here who just does NOT see why people buy black wheels in the first place.
To me, blacked out wheels look like the cheap steel wheels people run in the winter when the hubcaps don't fit.........I love chrome!

That's kind of what I was thinking....I like this PTM idea too... maybe I'll photo shop and look at it that way.

Thanks!
