I have a question about the center console lid. What do people use it for? I have tried a pad of paper and pen but after driving it all falls out. Just wondering. Looks pretty useless right now.

Depending on which console you have, usually it is for holding a tissue box. Larger (small box) one on non shift console, small soft pack for jump seat console. Not sure on the shifter style console.

None of my pens fit right. It's pretty much useless.

In my '01 F150, I put the Kleenex pocket packs in there. Haven't tried it in the '11.

Also scratching my head on the "cell phone" slot. I saw the thread saying it was probably for a cell carrier belt clip, but the engineers need to get out of the office a little more.
