Hello everybody,
I just purchased a 2012 F150 with a Supercab. It has a jump seat and I want get rid of the seat and replace it with a center console. It feels like wasted space to me because I will never have three people riding up front and I would much rather have some storage space in that area. Any ideas where to start? Purchase? Trade seat for console?

Best bet is ebay. No one is going to want your jump seat, so make it into a cool gaming chair with storage for the kidlets. The seatbelt even acts as a restraint if your kids are as horrible as mine were..

 

you'll never have three people riding up front because unless the third is a little kid. No one could possibly sit on that jumpseat. Even with a little kid a booster seat does not fit.
Worst idea ever for use of interior space. Ford should have stuck with a 60/40 split.

I got so fed up with the seat that I cut it off and just kept the base. A little modification and it will work for now but I still wish I had a real console.
