Is the center console different in a supercrew?
I'm looking at my boss' work truck he just got and the console is different from my reg cab and my fathers supercab. Just wondering because its a super crew and have never seen this console. It looks like a fly through shifter without the shifter. Also without the fly through shifter the cupholders are turn horizontaly as opposed to vertically.
it makes me like my console that much more. I can't load a pic on my mobile phone but will gladly email.
edit: actually looking at the 2010 Ford F150 product guide the supercrew xlt has the same console as mine and my fathers... So the question now is
what the hell kinda console is this? Aftermarket? I will gladly email the photo to someone.

It sounds like he has either an XL or XLT with the bucket seats. They come with a console in the floorboard that pretty much matches your description to a tee (no shifter, not flow through, horizontal cupholders) . I don't think cab style makes a difference in the console that is installed as any XLT I've seen with buckets had that style of console. Only other option is the bench seat with the center seat that flips down into an armrest/storage area.
The FX4 and up have the shifter in the floor not on the column hence the different console
