Default Catch can not working?

I installed a amp I think intercooler and catch can on the passenger side. I pulled the drain on the intercooler and some oil came out. I thought the catch can was suppose to prevent this. Or could it be coming from the driver side, I did empty the catch can and a good bit came out.

A catch can on the dirty side isn't going to keep all the oil out of the intercooler. You need to reroute the clean side from the turbo inlet to accomplish this.
