I have the RX Performance monster catch can and live in the northeast. I don't get Minnesota cold but as Tothemax said, it's a water/fuel/oil mix and mine has not frozen as far as I know. I've drained it on some very cold days(0*) and it always flowed. Mine is mounted like nerdh3rd has his.

 

That is definitely a better solution for northern climates.
