Catback options
I'm in the process of buying a house and once we close on it, I am going to start buying a few mods for the truck. The first one will be an exhaust system, catback only no headers. I know there are a lot of options for the 5.0 but since you guys have experience with different systems, I need some opinions.
The biggest factor is price, I'm not looking to spend $1k on a system. I'd like it to not be loud, but not factory quiet either, more or less a nice rumble to it that wouldn't wake up the neighborhood when I go to work at 0400 in the morning. Durability is another biggie, I'd like it to last a long time, something made with quality materials.

As far as sound goes check out our exhaust testing on our 5.0L.

Id say quality and price point you may want to look at a stainless steel MBRP kit

Thanks, Stage3.
I do like the sound of the MBRP dual exit system, but I also noticed you offer an "exit-back" version as well. I wonder how much of a difference in sound it would be compared to the full cat-back.

Just a tad louder than stock, nice low rumble that won't disturb the neighborhood unless you floor it on your way out LOL. Love my Magnaflow cat back system, it's just right.
Technically it's not a cat back as they call them, they actually bolt to the back end of the resonator.
