I thought Flowmaster were baffled mufflers? Turbo engines are not supposed to run baffled mufflers or does FM offer different internals now? Just asking
sounds good and clean install.

You are correct, Flowmaster makes baffled mufflers, hence why I put a 22" Magnaflow. I had a Flowmaster on my 98, 4.6L, but that was a whole different beast.

Edit: I don't know why or how it auto corrected to Flowmaster. It is indeed a Magnaflow and not a Flowmaster. I fixed the OP as well. Sorry for the confusion! :-)

Like they say, sometimes "you've got to pay to play."

As others have mentioned ... This is an illegal mod' -UNLESS- the vehicle is used strictly for off-road.

I'm surprised that F150Forum allows threads of this nature.

Yeh, I would think so. I wanted mine to be fairly mellow and no drone but things can always be changed and tried different ways. It is the never ending battle of modifications!

^^This is true. But on the EB you can go catless as long as you have a resonator and the stock catback there is no danger of getting a noise ticket.
Mine sounds pretty much like stock during normal driving but at WOT it's slightly louder. When you eliminate the resonator or swap the muffler these things can get obnoxiously loud. But just eliminating the cats makes hardly any difference at all.

Did you delete the cats? If so can you post a sound clip?

With stock exhaust? Can you hear a difference or any more power or fuel mpg?
