My 2011 does not do this. Anyone else with a 2011 not able turn on their cargo light with the dimmer switch(button)?

This is what I've done...I have a 2010 though, so you guys prob won't care...but I turn the switch on the dome light to the "off" position. Then roll the dimmer all the way to the right. Cargo stays on, interiors are off.

Yep, what Mbullock said! Works great. too bad they tried to over engineer the light switch.

On my 2011 I just hold the right side of the rocker switch for a moment and the inside lights and cargo lights turn on. Hold the left side to turn them off.

Takes a little getting used to.

I REALLY wish my 2012 had the roll style switch like the `09-10 instead of the `11+ toggle style.
just seemed easier to set at the dimmnes setting I prefer.

To anyone having problems understanding how this works on 11- up trucks, I just figured it out. The dimmer switch is the cargo switch. You just have to press it HARDER than you normally would to dim the dash lights. You will feel the second detent or click and will know you have it. Funny how it took me forever to figure out. So simple.

Should be a way to turn on the cargo light without the interior lights, but I havn't found it. My dimmer switch turns them both on.

I don't think there is a way. You're right, it would be nice
to just turn cargo on.
